Buenos dias a todos.
Ayer fue un dia realmente excitante, en todos los sentidos.
Tras la pesca de los dos magnificos atunes, el alboroto a bordo fue extraordinario y la almadraba que montamos en la bañera, digna de pelicula de Hitchcok ... Todavia estamos limpiando la bañera de las huellas de la "masacre"
Hay que reconocer que Juan esta siendo un dignisimo sustituto del cocinero titular y se esta ocupando con brillantez de que disfrutemos del atun mas fresco que hemos probado en nuestras vidas. Borja se ha esmerado en reparar el compresor del frigoboat por si la pesca aumenta ...
La excitacion de la mañana, tuvo su continuidad por la tarde, pero con signo ligeramente distinto ... Navegando con viento del NW, 15 nudos, rompio la driza del spi, que se fue al agua. Toda la tripu reaccionó como un resorte y en poco mas de media hora el spinnaker volaba de nuevo, con una nueva driza ...
Pero la cosa no acabo allí. Le tocaba el turno a la braza, que tambien rompio y nos dejó al spi como una veleta en el tope del palo. Conseguimos recoger el spi sin que sufriera ningun daño, pero, de momento, no tenemos forma de volarlo de nuevo ...
Ello nos quita 1-1,5 nudos de velocidad, con los vientos del NW-W que tenemos hasta Mazagon, por lo que se nos hace complicado poder llegar el Jueves 24, ahora que ya empezabamos a percibir el olorcillo de esos chocos de los que todo el mundo habla ... Hoy estimamos entrar en la marina de Mazagon el Viernes 25, hacia el mediodia.
Por la tarde, el viento amainó ligeramente y toda la tripulacion pudo practicar de nuevo el panza-ski.
La noche ha sido tranquila, sin trafico, y con la boveda celeste mostrandose de nuevo en todo su esplendor.

Yesterday was truly an exciting day!
After having caught two tuna fish, the mess that came along with it onboard was astonishing. So much so that we are still cleaning the deck from yesterday's "masacre."
It must be said that Juan has done an excellent job filling in for our former cook, luis. He is taking care of us so well that he has made sure that we enjoy the most fresh tuna that we have ever eaten.
The excitement continued on through the afternoon. The 15 knot NW winds allowed us to sail the spinnaker, which unfortunately did not last too long. The spinnaker halyard snapped off, leaving the spinnaker trailing in the water. The crew reacted quickly and within 20 minutes the halyard was replaced and the spinnaker was up again. But that was not the end of it yet...
About 30 minutes after, we heard another snap, this time it was the bowsprit attachment. Once again the crew was up and working immediately, but unfortunately we were unable to sail with the spinnaker again. This has caused us to sail 1-1.5 knots slower, which will delay our arrival until Friday morning.
In the afternoon, the sun was brightly shinning upon us so we decided it was swimming season once again, most of the crew go a chance to bathe outside, and some even tried the panza-ski.
The night was calm, without any traffic, and with partly cloudy skies that allowed us to glare at the stars from time to time.
